Following is the Mothers Day greeting from Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, TAPS as it is referred to by those of us in it circle of influence. This is an important organization in the healing process of 1000′s of people and I think it might hit home for some of you.
On this Mother’s Day, the TAPS family sends a gentle hug to all the mothers in our special circle of love. You may be spending this day without your son or daughter; you may be dealing with the daily tasks of raising your children on your own; you may be sharing this day with some of your children, yet still have an empty place at the table; you may be helping your child, as they face their own grief; you may be spending this day without your mother.
For the love given from the moment they were born;
For the continued love and sacrifices made as they grew into adulthood;
For the love that is and always will be carried in your heart;
Today we give thanks and remember our mother
