About Good News & Praise

Welcome to Good News & Praise!

The editors – Michael Klasno and Lynn Jardinico

Who are we?
-  The husband and wife team have been  married for almost 30 years. “Although we always had a good relationship and considered ourselves “good people” it wasn’t until we finally surrendered to God’s Plan that our relation with each other truly became rock solid.” says Michael “Being SAVED  literally changed our marriage.”

Why we started GNP – The secular world is a mess and that world view will send you straight to hell. We were warned this would happen and today we are even seeing parts of the “religious world” turning their backs on the teachings of Jesus and the clear warning signs of the Bible.

TV, radio, and major news media today constantly run “bad news.”  War, tragedy, rape, murder, Hollywood gossip, stories that are not fit for your children to read, some are just garbage. Lynn told me one night “I want to have a place for good news” . . .  “you know, the things that make you smile, feel fuzzy inside and put you in awe of God’s amazing power and grace. Why don’t you build me a website like that?”

So I did.

We also want to help others get better equipped  to meet the challenges of the secular world without giving into the every day trappings? We can’t stick our heads in the sand or hide from everything that is not Christian. We MUST get involved and stay focused.

And, we must help each other learn how to put on the whole Armor of God

” We are just getting started and we want the Good News and Praise website to be a guiding light in your walk with Christ.” says Lynn. But, to do that we really need your input.

What would you like to see from a Christian News website like ours?

Send your Good News Articles, Faith Editorials, Praise Reports and even the lyrics of your favorite Praise & Worship songs to us and we will add them here on Good News & Praise.

Mike,

We talked last week about the military promotion we have coming up tomorrow and I misplaced your business card. I would love to have you join us tomorrow. Please give me a call on my cell phone. Thanks Mike. I appreciate the awesome comments too.

Bible Verse of the day February 5th, 2012

~ Verse of the Day ~

Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

    -- 1 Corinthians 10:12,13

First Fruits

August 23, 2010 @ 1:56 PM

For us, first fruits represent a sacrifice. But in God’s economy, we are just sending it on ahead. He alone holds on to our most precious possessions until we return.

Your Salvation “If Not Today, then When?”

August 01, 2010 @ 5:46 PM

I know where I will spend eternity because my name is in the Book. My job in Heaven may be as a lowly dishwasher or picking up trash on the gold laden roads of heaven. My crown may not be jewel -laden like yours, maybe even made of copper or wood, but I will be in Heaven, warts and all

REDUX

May 14, 2010 @ 11:22 AM

Sadly, most of us were dismally unsuccessful. But here is the Good News! God is the master potter and He is vastly more successful at this than anyone can imagine! He is the very first potter and the very last potter.

Phoenix taxi driver donates kidney

September 29, 2009 @ 1:44 PM

“There are better odds of getting struck by lightning,” Van Loenen said. “A random taxi driver offering to give me his kidney and all these pieces match. There has to be something behind this. How can this be?”

Path Cleared for Memorial

September 19, 2009 @ 6:22 PM

Work will begin this fall on a memorial to those killed aboard United Airlines Flight 93 on Sept. 11, 2001, now that agreements have been reached to buy the last key pieces of land in Pennsylvania, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar said Monday.

The federal government will pay about $9.5 million to the owners of nine parcels near Shanksville, in rural southwestern Pennsylvania, totaling 1,395 acres, including the site where the plane crashed and one right-of-way, Mr. Salazar said.
